I started twisting wrenches on bikes for a living in 1970 at rice grinder dealer in Starkville, Mississippi.

In the late 70's, I twisted wrenches at an independent BMW shop in Austin, Texas.

In 1977, I restored my first BMW, a 1964 R27.

My wife is also a vintage BMW motorcycle entusiast and she's not afraid to get her hands greasy. We recently completed her 1968 R50. It won first place at Mid-Ohio Vintage motorcycle days in August, 1998 and first at the BMW Riders Association national rally in September.

Since the early brush with vintage addiction, my condition worsened. This is my 1939 Ford truck that I restored in 1991. In 2007, I restored the truck a second time and still drive it to this day.

In 2004, we added a 1936 Auburn Boattail Speedster replica to the collection.
